In June, the 19th “CPCE Bible Week” will take place. These encounter conferences for (non-ordained) persons from the CPCE member churches are an excellent opportunity to make our church fellowship tangible. In bible study, in exchange about our churches and in shared work on our themes, we experience our diversity, but also the common ground.
There is an open registration, but persons recommended by the CPCE member churches will have a priority.
“You are a letter of Christ” –Paul’s letters and our parish newsletters – that will be the subject of the 19th CPCE Bible Week. The intention is to combine basic issues in God’s communication with the main communication media in our local churches.
The Conference will take place in Berlin 17-21 June 2010. You can find details about the subject and the place (in German) on the Website of the Evangelische Akademie Berlin (http://www.eaberlin.de/berliner_bibelwochen_detail.php?vstg_id=9552&archiv=0). The main language will be German, but translation into English will be provided.
Costs for participation (incl. accomodation in twin rooms and meals) are 190,- Euro. The costs can be reduced for participants with lower incomes or from countries in Central and Eastern Europe. They can also apply for a subsidy for their travel costs.
Dr. Tamara Hahn, Tel: ++49 (0)30- 203 55 – 205, hahn(at)eaberlin.de, can give you further information (even in English).
