A Christmas tale

While the rest of Denmark is watching no fewer than 4 Christmas TV-calendars this year an amateur producer, Julie Schjoedt Lybek, wrote 24 brief episodes of a ‘no-budget’ calendar and filmed the amateur actors in Bjerager Church in the course of 8 days in October. The story is of the pregnant Maria and José, two Poles refused asylum in Denmark, who are discovered sleeping behind the altar of a church on the verge of collapse.

The Danish Bible Society has made the authorized Danish translation of the Bible from 1992 available for a mobile phone download. For a small fee purchasers can search for keywords or favourite passages and then bookmark them, if required.
