Ugens bøn

Min Herre og min Gud,

Giv mig alt det,

der kan lede mig til dig.

Min Herre og min Gud,

Tag alt det væk fra mig,

som skiller mig fra dig.

Min Herre og min Gud,

Tag mig væk fra mig selv

og overgiv mig helt til dig.

New Website for the Danish Lutheran Church

11/12-2009

On the last day of November the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark relaunched its official website – www.folkekirken.dk – under the creative management of Webmaster Ellen Aagaard Petersen, who has 10 years behind her as a pastor in Aarhus plus a Masters in Communications and Rhetoric.

The new site includes no fewer than four pastor-bloggers who will be at work answering questions from the general public. The website is a mine of information about the church, its faith, its practices and its service areas. For new beginners there is an introduction to the church, there are backgrounds to festivals, such as ‘All about Advent’ and links to all the dioceses for further information - plus a reading of the gospel text for the coming Sunday.www.interchurch.dk.

Alongside the re-launch of folkekirken.dk, the Church Council on International Relations is also launching its new website as an integrated part of folkekirken.dk. Secretary General of the Council Joergen Skov Sorensen, says the aim is a closer collaboration with the church’s online platform as a source of information for ecumenical work in Denmark. "We hope that our new homepage will be an inspiration for work in and between the dioceses and we look forward to servicing the various branches with materials, contacts and news. The new council website can be found at
